Had the greatest time at Festival of Praise last Saturday, but one of the stand out moments was artist Tõnya Lewis-Taylor. When I heard her sing, and then actually met her in person, I knew we just had to chat. She has a CD out called “Delayed But Not Denied” and explained why it’s titled that way and we also talked about the Festival of Praise Tour that’s making its way across the country.

I’m thrilled to talk to her about her new TV show “On The Go With Tiffany Patton.” We chatted about how she got into media and Tiffany literally on the go all over the place with cameras and mics following her:

There are four types of parenting styles: indulgent, neglectful, authoritative, and authoritarian… that could very well affect us growing up. And in light of the Ray Rice controversy and even locally with Cass Technical student Jayru Cambell, we all need to do a soul check on our upbringing and how it could affect our decision-making process. We can all make better choices in life. Let’s start by getting a clearer picture of how we were parented from Joseph Kimbrough… It’s Game On!
